How to Support a Loved One With Eating Concerns

If you have a loved one who has been experiencing negative thoughts about their body or their relationship with food, we have some information resources to share with you. A lot of these use the words "eating disorder", but a diagnosis of an eating disorder is not needed to benefit from some information about feeling better in our bodies and nourishing ourselves.

Why Seek Services?

We invite you to reach out to any of these resources, as research shows that those who seek support for their eating disorders early have the best chance at overcoming their concerns.

The National Eating Disorder Information Centre (NEDIC) is a supportive connection to eating disorder resources and healthcare pathway navigation within Canada. NEDIC offers confidential helpline services to anyone affected by an eating disorder through live chat, telephone, and email.
